1. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was younger I really wanted to be a cricketer.

2. What is your most treasured possession?

My first Stormer’s rugby jersey holds a lot of memories for me, so I would say it’s definitely my most treasured possession.

3. What personal item can you not live without?

My phone – I can’t leave the house without it.

4. What is your favourite sport, and why?

At the moment it’s definitely rugby. I love playing it with my mates and it requires a certain set of skills to play. You learn a lot about yourself in a sport like rugby.

5. What would your super power be?

Hahaha I would probably choose invisibility

6. Which living person do you most admire and why?

Definitely my parents. Just the way they have supported me in everything I do no matter what it is. They’ve also always been there to give me advice but have respected my freedom to make my own decisions at the same time.

7. Who would you invite to your dream dinner party?

I would invite Dan Carter, Johnny Wilkinson, Nelson Mandela, Kevin Hart and a few of my usual mates.

8. If you could go back in time, where would you go?

I would probably relive, and re-enjoy, my 18th birthday party

9. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Up until now, I’d say winning the Rugby Currie Cup. It was definitely a proud moment for me.

10. What is the most important lesson life has taught you?

Always be yourself. Don’t try and change for anyone. God made you who you are for a reason – be proud of it!
